Vision Point Systems Announces Promotion of COO Brad Shaw to President

BLACKSBURG, VA, October 1, 2005

The Vision Point Systems Board of Directors today announced the promotion of its Chief Operating Officer Brad Shaw to the position of President.

The Vision Point Systems Board of Directors voted unanimously on September 23^rd to elect Brad Shaw as its new President. This promotion reflects the success Vision Point Systems has experienced this year. Founder and CEO Yong J. Lee and Mr. Shaw have worked effectively together to lead the company to achieve record revenue and profit since the Board of Directors took action to realign its management structure earlier in the year in January. The company since then has expanded its customer base into new places such as Maryland and New York, been awarded an increasing number of contracts and task orders with the Department of the Navy, hired seasoned professionals, created a research-oriented venture to develop telecommunications hardware, and raised the salaries of non-executive employees by an average of 20 percent.

Vision Point Systems is planning to expand its number of employees at both of its offices. The company will locate most of its research personnel in its Blacksburg headquarters while filling its Fairfax City office with consultants in the coming year. Vision Point Systems was founded in October, 2002 by Mr. Lee as YL Comm, Inc. The Vision Point Systems team offers consulting services in software development, computer telephony integration, and data/telecom infrastructure design. The Blacksburg-based firm is SBA 8(a) and HUBZone certified.
