Vision Point Systems Announces Management Changes

BLACKSBURG, VA, March 2, 2005

Vision Point Systems Board of Directors today announced changes to its management structure.

The Vision Point Systems Board of Directors convened to change the management structure of the company on January 24, 2005. Founder and Chairman Yong J. Lee stepped back into the role of Chief Executive Officer while Senior Vice President Brad Shaw has been named the new Chief Operating Officer. Jeffrey Ganthner, former President of the firm, has left the company to pursue other endeavors.

This realignment of executive management is intended by the Board of Directors to prepare the company for key strategic initiatives in 2005. The firm will continue to develop its core competencies and streamline its vertical markets. The clarification of its goals will enable Vision Point Systems to better focus its business development and R&D efforts. Key initiatives for Vision Point Systems this year include ventures to launch new products in the telecommunications industry and the development of a group to provide artificial intelligence and advanced visualization services for data analysis.

From the outset, Vision Point Systems experienced success with clients in the U.S. Northeast region and continues to pursue opportunities there in the life sciences market. Vision Point Systems has also become well known throughout the Roanoke/Blacksburg, VA area as a leader in software development. The company has further made its presence known in the Washington, DC region within the Federal Government and BIO-TECH community in core technology areas. Vision Point Systems developers are currently involved in research-intensive projects with the Department of the Navy.
