Informed Consent Document Generation

Healthcare providers are faced with many challenges in documenting their practices. With HIPAA compliance considerations, error-prone transcription of hand-written documents, and the overall costs of maintaining healthcare forms, creating and maintaining documents is a costly, time-consuming affair. VPS has experience working with companies to streamline these processes. An example of an application we've developed is a system that automates the generation of informed consent forms to enroll patients in therapeutic drug programs. This application reduces the effort in creating paperwork for both physicians and patients as well as streamlining the patient registration process. The documents can be stored and shared electronically, with security safeguards in place to prevent unauthorized access. Our applications can also integrate scannable barcodes that allow the content to be quickly entered into document systems via automated processes, while eliminating much of the complexity introduced by electronic signatures. VPS adds efficiencies to every step of the document lifecycle.

VPS has also created websites that gather user input, combine this with static materials, and generate custom PDF documents on the fly. The PDF format is standard in most operating systems. Users have the flexibility to create documents in both printed paper and electronic formats.
